It's probably worth a mention mate. Mass Effect 2 is currently free at Origin.

First the download for ME2 is the Digital Deluxe edition or at least it was for me.
Also if you have 400 points (About £3.50 if you don't already have them) you can buy the Genesis DLC add-on which allows you to make all the decisions you would have made in ME1 without having to play it. Make sure you get the points from the website and not in the Origin app. The app is more expensive.

I really don't understand why they don't sell a bundle with all games and DLC included.

Ignore the OP. Many DLCs are included for ME2.

Yes. I was aware it was the Digital Deluxe Edition (it says it in the title). I was merely pointing out for anybody who was unaware that if you're not overly interested in any of the content, that the base game is FREE.
Simply a heads up.

You can do this for free with Gibbed's save editor! Had Origin not been giving away ME2 then this would have been a pretty good price (although the Digital Deluxe Editions in my opinion are beyond worthless).

I read the OP which says "Mass Effect 2 Standard - free on Origin - thanks BuzzDuraband"

Does anybody know if steam link and controller will work with the Steam version? I have the game for origin linked in my Steam library, but I can't use my Steam controller with it.

Edit: For mass effect 1 this is.
