Has anyone tried Rooster (aka Huy Fong) sriracha sauce? How does this one compare to the Rooster?

Rooster is far and away the best, and arguably the original. Worth paying more for it.
It's not supposed to be a 'hot' hot sauce, it's supposed to be about the flavour, and these other brands lack the flavour.

Hot for the price but cold for the taste :smirk:
Rooster - Chili (78%)
Eagle - Chili (56%)

I like Huy Fong more than flying goose and other renditions. I used to have to import it as they only had flying goose or supermarkets own brand sauce everywhere so stocked up a lot... Until Waitrose started doing them!

S-R-I-R-A-C-H-A... Nope no E's, 2 A's though. Do you like them A's?

Can recommend to you this company. I have used them for a couple of years now and never been disappointed with their service (and more particularly their prices!).
I just checked the sauce you recommended and 740ml is £4.26.
They stock Pearl River Bridge Light Soy and TTL Shao Hsing Rice Wine to name but two.
Sure there is a p&p charge but if you factor in the range available and prices it is not an issue IMHO.
The way they pack the parcels is an art form in itself.
Opening post
