getting the product into the hands of genuine fans, 'limited edition' or otherwise, is a good thing in my book.

Limited to 2,000 each run they do more like. We've run out, no problem here's another 2,000 and so on and so forth. Zavvi and limited edition makes a mug out of the consumer.

​Me too! It would seem that the scalpers went overboard with the Mononoke steelbook as it specifically stated that it was limited to 2,000.

I'm not exactly sure if the other releases were also limited to 2,000 but stating it on the listing didn't help with the stock.

Is this Blu-ray only or DVD+BR? I'm sure the whole Ghibli collection was already released in steel book form wasn't it?

Annoyingly; I missed the Mononoke one. And there's no way I'm encouraging those exploitative opportunitists on eBay even if just out of principle.
