I've got this system, bought to replace my ancient Panasonic system, bought it for 200 in the sale. It's very very slow to control and the max volume is too low. Picture quality is excellent and links easily to other devices eg phone, £139 is a fair price but if you buy it you will still get frustrated by it. Buy something else, I wish I had.

WiFi Bluetooth NFC 800W, 3D bluray player. This is a steal. My wireless speaker cost more than this. For what you are getting, I very much doubt you'd find better spec/cheaper cost.

Thanks. I would test it extensively for a month and if its found slow, I would return it to Argos.

Cheers. Probably would work for the spare room then, seems a great price to be fair if you aren't using it for a main system.

Thanks. If I buy that, I will be spending another 70-80 for a decent Blue-Ray player on top of that though. I am very convinced the Yamaha one is much superior audiowise.

I had a 1000 watt Sony ( but died ) ok was louder but not the quality, I do play a lot of music & the Yamaha sounds so lush. But I do get what ur saying it's all about the dollars :disappointed:

Looking at pictures of the back of this thing it has an optical input and ARC HDMI, so it is going to be infinitely more useful than most of the cheap DVD Home Cinema setups I've seen posted on here over the last few months (you are actually going to get surround sound from your external devices e.g. Sky/Virgin/PC/Console). Can't comment on the user experience or volume but on paper this looks like a good deal.
