I have no interest in this (or the Argos one) but a few people asked whether this was a good kit, so I just looked at the specification, and now I doubt that it is a good basic took set at all. It would be next to useless (on its own) for fixing a car because it contains no spark plug sockets or open ended or combination spanners, and it contains all those (about 18 I think) imperial sockets that would never get used (unless one is the owner of an Austin Cambridge), the same goes for fixing motorbikes, modern (last 40 years) lawnmowers and chainsaws. It would not be much use for fixing pushbikes because it has none of the special tools (freewheel extractors, bottom bracket spanners, wheel bearing spanners &c) that one needs. For jobs around the house the pliers would be handy, but something with a hammer, saw, hacksaw, level and some screwdrivers would be much more use. What uses are left: I can't think of any offhand (that does not mean it would not be useful to someone, just that I can't think of any uses!).
This is a cheap outfit, and I have nothing against Halfords tools (my spare, spare set is a Halfords one I bought at least 15 years ago, and apart from the 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets that had to be replaced the rest all still work fine), but I wonder what use uninformed users find for it. I have no interest in whether people buy this or not, but they should think about whether they have any use for it before they do.

Showing as none available at Argos Kettering Retail Park ? So wouldn’t say plenty of stock and none available near me but would say this Phaze 52 Piece set is the cheapest it has been for a long time and perfectly adequate as a basic tool kit.

This is certainly not a premium set, that would cost between 6 and 10 times as much, but it would be more or less adequate for a home mechanic. It would not be much good for fixing a car because it seems to lack some important tools like spark plug sockets, it would also have 14 surplus sockets (the imperial ones) that would not be much use on a car built after the 1980s (unless you have an American car). The kit also lacks open ended, ring or combination spanners, so the user would have to factor in the cost of those, even for home use (lower end spanners are not expensive, but the supplied adjustable would not be a substitute).
I hope that answers your question - it just depends what you need to do as to whether this set would be adequate or not.
Not premium per se, for the odd jobs around the home they are more than adequate and the tools aren't large in size but again it depends what you are using them for.

Either set would be fine for fixing lawnmowers and similar, or basic jobs on cars, motorbikes and pushbikes; I suspect the quality would be about the same for both, but the Argos set is even cheaper.
