How about PayPal refunding the wasted postage costs paid by seller, not to mention the time spent and items being unable to be resold?

why you always moaning everytime this gets posted. If you can't handle the distant selling regulations then open a corner shop instead.

Deal with it? How novel!
This simply allows people to abuse private eBay sellers' items on a "try and buy" policy.

I really don't understand this deal. So, if I buy something, open it, have a look at it, then decide I don't want it I can send it back?? WTF. God help I am not a big eBay seller.

This is mainly aimed at ebay buyers I would imagine yes.

Still lost on this one. I have a few items I had planned to list on eBay. Not now. Why would I list something, in good faith, some plonker buys it then decides **** it, I don't want it. No problem as PayPal will just let him/her send it back at no cost to them!!!!!!!!!! I now have an item returned that id worth less than it was when first sent!

Yup, that's pretty much why I wouldn't sell on eBay either... at least them having to pay for returns was some kind of deterrent.

I think I'll stick with Gumtree until eBay sort themselves out. I have used both and find that anything I am selling on Gumtree and eBay is viewed by people who view both sites, so easy to nudge them towards Gumtree and save loads on fees.
