Needed new wardrobe and drawers and loved the look of these in the catalogue, the prices in catalogue are:
3 door wardrobe - £249.99
4+2 drawer chest - £129.99
3 drawer bedside chest - £49.99
Total = £439.97
I then managed to find these 3 items in a set for £249.97 (link used above) and I then found a 20% off code which brought the whole set down to £200, saving a massive £239.97!!! To get the 20% off use code FURN20 (home delivery for the items is an extra £6.95)

I ordered this set and another (the dressing table set) over a year ago and with the discount code they weren't much dearer I think both sets were £440. The quality is ok for the price but be prepared to call up customer services for damaged and missing parts. I had 4 tops sent for the dressing table as they were all damaged. In the end I just let it go as I was spending more time asking for the parts and waiting for them to be delivered than it took to put the units together. It seems the most were damaged in the post/courier due to them being poorly packaged. So I would advise to check them over before you go to work and make sure all the parts are there.

Argos furnitures aren't very good and won't last that long. We have learnt from our mistakes.

Alright if you can't afford anything better but these flat packed furniture have really gone downhill over the years. I had a done drawers needed replacing and so I bought a set of assembled drawers from local furniture shop. I was due delivery and the shop called me up said they had already been sold to another customer before me. I'd already got rid of the broken ones at tip.
Anyway I bought a 3 piece furniture set from argos about 6 months later I gave away 2 of the pieces. The small chest wasn't too bad, they not designed by hold much. Just save save save to afford something more substantial.

I did buy some bookcases a couple years back from Ikea, they flat packed, but much better quality even though reasonably priced.
