Both Now TV Smart boxes (4 months movies and 5 months entertainment) have been reduced to £37 at John Lewis making it cheaper than all other Smart Boxes!!
It is a bit of a faff but you need to put it on top of microwave while it's on for 8 minutes (800w) then straight in the fridge for 12-15 mins to get around the encryption.
After that you can install whatever you want.

If you're using this method, I would smother it in syrup first (ensures better contact with the Microwave casing)

I've broken mine I think doing this, however to be fair I didn't follow it to the letter - I was so excited I couldn't wait for 12-15 minutes in the fridge bit so put it in my freezer for 5 minutes, however now trying to watch Sky Movies the pictures frozen? Any suggestions?

Read post and thought there was 4 months Cinema + 5 months entertainment. Both are on offer but the deal is for either on or the other. Hot if you can pick up in store, wouldn't trust them if ordering on-line.

Seems like a really good deal if you want the free view feature. Heat!

Why would you need freeview most if not all TVs have this included?

One example application: adding FVTV to PC monitor.

your comment is obviously extremely incorrect - most tvs do NOT have freeview included

You wouldnt, but Sky can add 100+ channels to the marketing on the box.

The TV I use one of these on has Freesat HD but only SD on Freeview. So I use this box to get Freeview HD.

I've been looking around for a smart nowt box deal for ages. I'm not really fussed about the packages, it's just the box I'm looking for, I want something simple for my father to use
