Not much to say.
From the 20th Feb to 28th March the 1kg Napolina Spaghetti is half price at £1.14.
Makes it cheaper than the 500g.

there really isn't any difference between this and the majority of own brand versions

Agreed. It's on the bronze pasta that's a notable set up.

It isn't an Italian pasta! I have never heard this brand before. If you wanna eat a "proper" pasta, you should buy "Rummo", "De Cecco", "Buitoni" or "Barilla" (even if I don't really suggest the last one). These brands use the right wheat for their products. Alternatively, if you just need to buy a generic pasta, own brand from LIDL or ALDI are cheaper.

Lying in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw, and I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me?
Because I come from the land of plenty."
And he said:

Way down deep in the middle of the Congo, A hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango. He stuck it with the others and he danced a dainty tango. The rhino said, "I know... we'll call it Um Bongo!"
