Heat from me though sadly I could eat the whole pack in one go. :confused:

I have heard that Magnum Ice-cream contains emulsifier E-471, which can be sourced from animal fat. Is this true? Does this mean that Magnum ice-cream is not vegetarian?

The emulsifier used in Magnum ice-cream is derived from a pure vegetarian source which is palm based and NOT animal fat, and hence is a 100% pure Vegetarian product. This is also indicated on the packaging of the product which carries a ‘Veg’ logo symbolized by a Green dot.

I've emailed them to ask and they replied it's not suitable for a vegetarian​ or halal diet.

Yeh it's suitable for vegetarians in India but not in the UK... different methods/ingredients probably
