Looks good as it cooks food as well.
I have a Thermomix it's so overrated for the price. You can make dough but you then have to cook it in oven and same for cakes I expect for the price over £1000 it would cook everything in it.
Didn't pay anywhere near £1000 for mine and still don't think it's worth it.

I would buy it but as I already said I have a Thermomix.
It's same reduced price on Amazon. Amazon and John Lewis have 2 year guarantee which you pay extra for.

No brainier then if you want to buy it. I am a gadget person even I want it but don't need it. Amazon one is not in stock but delivery when it is in stock.

That's the way John Lewis make it look, certainly. But I think all you get is additional cover for the same 2 year period - not another two years on top.

There is a Thermomix thread on Mse so I put the link to this kenwood one and someone replied saying don't bother buying it as it's rubbish and not worth £99 and not worth cupboard space.

Detailed review then. To be honest, if you had an expensive thermomix you may be less inclined to recommend a much cheaper option that is good - makes your own purchase look poor value.

Just out of curiosity, does the warranty show an actual date 4 years after purchase, or are you relying (as I did until I realised I'd been caught out) on the website wording?

I have a certificate with the year printed on it, I think it depends on the type of product as to the level of cover, but I agree the website is misleading and is not treating customers fairly as required by the FCA.

I checked with John Lewis. The guarantee is 2 years with them and the additional payment is for the same 2 concurrent years but provides accidental cover. It's quite mis-leading.

That's precisely what I found when I bought something recently. These warranties are made to look like extensions of the original warranty, but they're not - they just run alongside them.
Origrav92 reports a different experience however - it's the date on the certificate which matters, of course. John Lewis, as so often nowadays, are being rather less than straightforward in their dealings.
