Good price but mixed reviews. Probably the reason why it's heavily discounted.

8.2 / 10 average score. I don't see that as "mixed reviews". One of the bad reviews says "lags sometimes". Clearly they don't know how to use a laptop let alone review one.

For that price you'd take the rough with the smooth or if really concerned pay another 150 pounds for similar specification?

No dedicated graphics card so not really. Minecraft/Warcraft, simple games and games from before 2010 I would suggest

Good price but remember that although it's an i7, it's a dual core U series and in many ways is similar in day to day performance as something like an i5 6500u and I doubt you'd actually notice much difference to an i3 u series. What would make a difference is if this thing had an SSD drive in it.

Hopefully AMD Zen/Ryzen will give them a much needed kick up the *rse.
