Gore are probably the ultimate brand for cycling clothes. I have one of their jackets and it's great in all weather. Shame these overshoes aren't for everyday shoes but heat nonetheless. Good find!

Why are they not suitable for everyday shoes? Cycling shoes only? :/

My feet are warm just by riding. Do i really need these? Maybe for when it's raining?

Yes, I don't think they'd offer much benefit in sunshine weather.

if you don't get cold feet why would you buy something that is only good for keeping your feet warm?

What's the benefit of these over waterproof socks?

These are to keep the elements out, and to keep your feet warm. Outside layer, like a jacket. If you don't have feet issues cycling then you're good without.

Won't waterproof socks keep your feet warm?

Waterproof socks don't stop your shoes getting damp, won't protect you from windchill etc
These are particularly suited for riding in summer shoes in the winter. Won't stop rain but are splash proof. One thing I'd say from owning a similar model from Gore - it didn't last very long.
