Here is another deal for those after school holiday deals in August. Based on a family of 4 this is an 8 night holiday from 19/08 and returning on 27/08 in Rhodes. The hotel is the Marietta in Pastida which has good reviews overall compared with the other slightly cheaper places I looked at they had reviews that were far worse! The reviews for the Marietta are below.
You could look at alternative accommodation but I think this represents good value.
The flights are with Norwegian and just include hand luggage. I don't think the flight times are particularly favourable, but it is cheap for school holidays so there are some compromises.
Total £786.57/£196.64pp based on 2 adults and 2 children

I've posted a few April ones over the last week or two but whether they are still current I've no idea.

Pastida is a traditional Greek island village and best used as a base to visit other places on Rhodes. If your kids are ok splashing around the pool thats fine but there isnt a lot to do otherwise for the over 10s. Both the Marietta and the Garden hotel which i go to are very good basic friendly hotels but i wouldnt and havn't took teens there as there is nothing for them to do. One last thing is it sometimes states its 45mins walk to the beach from Pastida. If you want to go to the beach hire a car and factor this in its a slog on the way there and soul destroying on the way back if you walk. Transport means easy access to Faliraki, Rhodes town and an hour from the beautiful Lindos. Hope this helps somebody

There was a cheaper option the Ataviros which can be booked on Ebookers with the 14% off code here but I think this is a more mountainous area but this place also has fantastic reviews so this could be another option.
I think you'd probably need a car though rather than a shuttle as it's likely to be expensive.
