Isn't the tea in the form of a tea-bag, which is one only at the cash desk I believe, so no tea refills? I drink coffee, that's why I can't say for certain.

This isn't new. Has been the case since I can remember; at least four or so years if not more.

it's been going since October 2006 as Ashton store opened then and I think Family scheme launched at the same time. allowed to repost deals every month.

Not sure if they still do the breakfast deal in the mornings for Family card holders. If memory serves me right it was only a couple of quid for a cooked breakfast and add in the free tea or coffee it was worth the couple of mile drive!!

Ikea family price is only 40p for Hot chocolate, and to be honest it's pretty good Hot chocolate.

I've used the "free" drink with the Family Card a few times when I've stopped to charge the car up (free charging station and a free drink whilst it's being done).
They do Hot Chocolate on this as well, although there is a slight premium for it (about 30-40p) and as its given as a token for the machine you can't get refills, but still a bargain.
Incidentally, if you've forgotten your card they will accept the temporary paper ones issued by the machines dotted around the place.
