Free fair trade chocolate with your free hot drink from Waitrose cafes.
This is for fair trade fortnight, running from 27th Feb to 12th March.
No mention of the chocs being around if you're getting a take-away coffee, but if you're in a store with a cafe, and ask for a take away, I'd say chances are good
If you aren't making any other purchase at all, to get your coffee free in a cafe, make a purchase of a flavoured syrup for your coffee. It counts! ( thank you to poster boyaloud for that fabulous tip!)

Yep, me too. I get the coffee, the reduced stuff, and the occasional thing off checkoutsmart

there's always a queue at my local waitrose just for the free coffee. Tried it once, tastes gross!

How big is the choc? Tiny one bite or whole bar 100g?

Very weak coffee. Have to pull the cup out very early - straight after the brew and before the hot water top up.

You can keep pressing the strength button. I like 4x. But I'm not getting much sleep at night.

or do what I do, select black coffee, press the red hand cancel button after the shot of espresso, then select another option and cancel again before the cup filled up. You now have a double shot extra strong coffee.

These Waitrose deals make me laugh. I wonder what the people who work there must think, doling-out free coffee and chocolate bars to queues of people who'll happily spend a small fortune on their weekly shop of truffles and foie gras

Most of the people getting free coffee are going there just for the free coffee and maybe a free newspaper. I doubt many (any?) of them are buying truffles and foie gras! Waitrose round our way's a pretty normal shop anyway - handy for the few items that Aldi don't yet sell.

Haha, yeah, I know. It is pretty expensive though
But I suppose one can always send the butler to wait in line for the freebies
