I have a Henry and it sucks; I mean it is rubbish. It's size and shape makes it impractical to move around, especially on stairs. It falls over easily and the nozzle is cheap and weak.

The hose is in the handle, it pulls up and off for doing stairs etc

I bought my DC40 Multifloor during the final Tesco Clubcard boost. From memory the price was as per this listing and then there was the boost.
These vacuums are not nearly as manoeuverable as they would have you believe and whilst some people love them, others hate them. I don't mind it actually, but it does take some getting used to.
Bear in mind that the dust collection unit is very small and so you will need to empty it every second usage or so. The filters should be cleaned every month, but it is an easy task and so should be no issue.
The power lead is a bit shorter than my previous Dyson and that is a bit of a pain as it means I now have to unplug half way through the task and change to another plug.
One thing that everybody does like about this model is that it is powerful and has very good suction. I think they also come with a five year warranty, as mine did.

Better off with the Dc40 animal which is only £30 more ( £219.99) at Argos and Curry's and comes with the turbine tool also that is worth £30

They're exactly the same unit apart from the turbine tool. It's good for stairs / pet hair etc but that's about it.
