I tend to find these make the windscreen foamy and streaky. I tend to urinate on my windscreen which works a treat and no smear marks. It's good to warm up by doing light exercise prior to urinating on your windscreen. It helps increase the temperature of your urine.

But it works for me. You should try it, you may surprise yourself. Just be careful you don't drip on the bonnet, not good for your paintwork.
