Indeed. It's been on sale for two weeks already, and expires in a few days. But who are we smelly old HUKD regulars to judge? :stuck_out_tongue:

I have the base game, is it worth paying £11.99 for just the dlc? is there a lot of content please?

There is no dlc for scholar of the first sin so if you already have this on disk then no, it isnt worth it...

If by base game you mean you only have plain old vanilla Dark Souls 2 then Scholar of the First Sin is 100% worth it. It's got a near locked 60fps, has all the DLC and remixes a lot of enemy types and placement so the game feels fresh and different enough from vanilla DS2 to make double dipping worth it.

When you say base game do you just mean DS2 on a different console? The PS4 only had the version with all the DLC.

Ah I've been looking for a physical copy of this one. Got excited for a moment. Heat though.

I have been pondering repurchasing, but my save game is at such a hard point in the game, I could only imagine a frustrating 2 hours of getting no where fast and assigning to my pile of shame.
But for anyone that has not previously purchased or those wanting to replay from the beginning, then yes dark souls 2 is a must own and play game.

Where're you at?

I'm unsure, but one place is where all the green goo keeps been spat out / explodes at you and few other places where I cannot make it through, I must of completed a good 75 percent of the game. It is pure quality

Ahh, I know the area well. You can generally get set up with some decent anti-poison armour & plants for when you do get poisoned. The giants underneath are fun too

Ah thank you, what is the name of the area and how far into the game would you say I am?
