I have a delicate constitution, as such can't eat the durum wheat based dry pasta. I'm fairly adept at making fresh egg pasta and use our pasta machine regularly. I find that the longer cooking time of dry pasta and the prep time/short cooking time of fresh pasta really offset one another. Plus that the texture and flavour of homemade really can't be beaten! as for cost, 100g flour, 1 egg, pinch of salt and drop of olive oil equates to approximately 30p per portion of pasta. fresh egg pasta in the supermarkets costs far more for the same volumes. Sure dry pasta could be obtained cheaper, but it's comparing apples with oranges!

Thank you, saw it in the leaflet for £12.99 with the wooden dryer but it's a much better buy for just the machine.
Just bought for a pressie for my son and girlfriend.
