The charity supports firefighters "who are injured, ill or in need of psychological support to come to terms with the life and death situations they face on a daily basis". They support serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families.
The car wash events are as follows: 4 March: Whaley Bridge Fire Station – 9am – 4pm. 11 March: New Mills Fire Station - 10am - 4pm. 18 March: Long Eaton Fire Station – time to be confirmed. 25 March: Ripley Fire Station - 11am - 3pm. 25 March: Shirebrook (Sports Direct, Shirebrook) - 9am – 1pm.

is it a great cause ? - I thought fire fighters (like police and army etc) got paid extra because there job is a risky one - would the person who was in the same fire and got the same injury's get the same care and support as the fireman (I suspect not), I am not saying that fire-persons don't do a good job or need help - just that it should be the government should care for the people that need it and not rely on charity to support small sections of the problem!

There a very small amount of people (me and you included) who know what swirls are. I've found it's best to leave the others to it otherwise they'll look at you like you're crazy when you try to explain :man:
