Just a heads up. BT mobile £20pm for 20gb for BT customers, 12m SIM only including extra speed 4G (EE network / BT is EE!).
We took a similar deal some months ago and can confirm that Amazon voucher and TCB do pay out. Amazon voucher £90 and cash back £52.50.
So you pay £20pm but receive £142.50 in cash back and Amazon vouchers, making it £8.13pm effective for unl/unl/20gb.
Other deals are available but have been notably better in the past e.g. We actually have the 4gb for less than £1pm effective - so if you are after that keep an eye on the vouchers and cash back aligning on that deal.
Hope this helps someone :smiley: can confirm voucher and cash back pay out from first hand experience.

I think the vast majority of people would treat an Amazon voucher as being the same as cash - virtually everything can be bought at a competitive rate. Clearly not for you if you don't feel that way :smiley:

I purchased this as an existing customer. Today I left BT for the SKY Broadband deal and received an email fro BT saying they will be removing my discount on the sim in 31days time. :-(

Slightly off the details of this deal but I am in my final 2 weeks of a 12 month SIMO with BT. 20gb for £16 (after £5 discount) and having just spoken to someone they said I will continue on this price and deal if I don't do anything to change it. This is despite the current 20gb costing £20 (after £5 discount). I took his name but am not too sure his info was accurate, especially as he kept me in silence for a long time in between "checking my account". Anyone reading with insight that can give me assurance or better info, please do. I don't mind keeping the contract for another year at the current price.

Same situation as you, pretty sure your plan stays £16 a month and you will be out of contract with BT so can always leave if they increase the price.
Taking out a new SIMO plan you are entitled to amazon voucher and can port in another number whenever

They seem to change the prices and what you get quite frequently so it seems as is yes you get to keep what you had, it's not that they have specific plans that apply to everyone. They are good BT mobile, so far. Super fast EE 4g and everything works just fine.

Sorry! I mean go to the BT site via another link e.g. Three months ago you might have gone to BT via an advert somewhere so the cash back (well referral fee) would go to the that advert was on, not via TCB - i.e. Use a different browser or always clear cookies before following a cash back link! Especially watch out for googling it and clicking the BT advert - that diverts the cash to Google instead.

Thanks for this. Sounds like a possible plan then, take out a new sim under this deal, port mine to another network, port it to this new sim in a couple of weeks. Slight overlap in payments but better in the long run for a little work :wink:

The voucher and cash back payout as long as you click through without visiting via another site and you complete the voucher claim in line with their procedures. Don't know your specific situation though.

It looks as though Quidco are offering £60 cashback for the SIMO Ultimate Plan, rather than the £52.50 from TopCashBack... so there's an extra £7.50 saving!

My advice is to avoid using Quidco on this deal, recently had 2 BT SIMO cashbacks declined by Quidco, where my 2 with TCB went through perfectly and paid already from a Black GFriday deal. Quidco offer headline deals, but based on my experience, their success rate at paying me these deals is a dismal failure.

You may be able to get the "deal" but you won't get the vouchers. My 12 month bt contract just ended and I phoned them to ask about renewing, they said I could continue on the same deal I had but the vouchers are for new customers only.
Told them not to bother renewing as I'm not gaining anything.

Port away to a 30 day sim with someone else. Then port back, in my experience need to allow a week or so before your BT account will let you order online. You could probably do it quicker with customer service but then you'd lose quidco or whatever cashback. Just done it this Feb. Amazon and quidco both paid.

It's £13.13 for non-BT customers which judging by some deals that get hot on here might still be regarded as good by many people. Also there are massive discounts, cash back and vouchers on switching to BT so might be worth switching to BT if not in a minimum contract period.
Wipes the floor with that daft Plusnet deal that was getting heat a while back.
