Obviously a niche item but a very good price incl delivery and installation (normal Costco price apparently 6 grand!).
Incidentally, the total price I've quoted includes 12 months membership of Costco Online. If you aren't a member the price is more as you get a 5% surcharge.

I do fancy one of these, but running costs are high. Budget £50 - £100 a month for electricity, chemicals, filters, water if you're on a meter.

Can't comment on this model, but can on ours, Jacuzzi J375. Electricity is around £30-50 per month, depending on usage. Chemicals budget around £5/month. We're not on a water meter, but count on a refill every 3-4 months, around 1250-1500l of water. Filters, haven't replaced ours in 4 years but need to shortly, around £90 for both.

Mine costs ~£30 month for electric, water is £2-£3 (metered) and chemicals less than that.

One other word of caution, they're made in China. Be very careful about hot tubs from China. Did a lot of research when we purchased ours and was warned heavily against tubs made in China. Hopefully Costco will give you good backup if the worst does happen though.

Knowing how they value their reputation i would be very surprised if Costco knowingly sold rubbish products. And anyway what isn't made in China these days? You have to be careful of British companies who charge an arm and a lrg for stuff putting out anti Chinese proganda simply because they are in danger of losing their living.

Sure, when buying a hot tub do the same research we did, as it's quite a big ticket item. If you do the same research we did you'll come up with plenty of warnings to avoid tubs made in China. General list of problems include, poor insulation, poor quality pumps, electrics burning out, actual tub acrylic really poor quality, plumbing not great.
I would say do you homework.
I don't buy the what isn't made in China either. This is a £4500 purchase, go in with your eyes open. I would also want to test a hot tub before making the splash, so find a supplier you can try before you buy first. All good spa sellers will let you try first. This alone changed our path from Villeroy Boch to Jacuzzi with our purchase.
I would add, I'm a huge Costco fan, so their name and backup is a plus here.

does anyone know how does this works if there's a crane required to get it over the house? it states in the delivery it's just a 2 man delivery to an outside area or garage

HaHa...I'm suspecting you may have to pay for the crane yourself

These are not too heavy and can be tipped sideways on a trolly. So if you have room it can be wheeled up the garden, if not then a crane would be needed. Look on youtube how its done.

Yup, mine too. The water isn't as significant as you'd think; like taking a bath a month. I always thought they were connected to the mains.
I was sceptical but my wife wanted one and I genuinely love it - down time without electronics, talking about the day while looking at the stars. It's your money, buy one if you want one
