Wow... Now that's taken me back!
I had a friend back in junior school who confided in me that he used to think that 7UP was called ZUP.
I've called it ZUP ever since.

Tango or Sprite?
Tango and 7Up are made by the same people in the UK. Iirc.

7up > Sprite > Tango
Didn't know they were made by the same company that's interesting.
I always thought coca-cola owns Tango but Pepsi owns 7up? Maybe I was completely wrong

Tango was invented in Wales and is owned by Britvic according to Wikipedia.

I did say made in the UK though - Britvic have a range of brands they produce in the UK, including Pepsi and 7Up.
That's also why Tango, Pepsi (Max and diet), and 7Up Free are 600ml bottles in meal deals as Britvic regard them as healthier options being low sugar, so provide quantity to emphasise that.
Tango is weird though, as there are instances of supposedly similar Tango flavours having hugely different amounts of sugar in them depending on the packaging.

Interesting. Makes sense.
Surprising to hear there's any soft drinks companies left that aren't owned by Coca-cola co. !
