Poundland Congleton is a superstore and the by far biggest in the area, it's also a clearance center for old Family Bargains stock. 25% off everything and I mean everything, eg lithium ion window vac down from £15 to £11.75, garden furniture, it's well worth a trip. Obviously all the £1 is 75p.

Can you blame them? With the likes of B&M, Home Bargains etc... it was just a matter of time.

It'll all kick off on here from the "Poundland should mean everything is a pound " brigade  75p - Should be done under the Trades descriptions Act (or whatever its called these days ) . My gast has rarely been so flabbered .

Don't Panic, don't panic, everthing is £1, until you get to the till and they say "that'll be £10 good Sir, but as there's a lightening sale on we'll only charge you £7 and fifty English pence today, good morrow Sire".
