Zelda BoTW for switch £47.99 with prime discount (£49.99 without) for pre-order. Cheapest price I have seen for the game (with the prime discount).

HEAT, will give just about any Switch related deal heat at the moment, seeing it cheeses of the Nintendo hating, other generic mainstream console fanboys

Prices were always going to come down before launch. Don't know why everyone was freaking out so much.

Terrible. Can grab any PC game for £25-30 before launch. Everything is relative.

Exactly, it happens with every console release. Pretty sure even GAME said they didn't know what price they were putting it at and stuck it at £60 (top price) whilst they figured out the details. Still, should see most switch launch games hover around the £40 mark.

True. But Nintendo games hold their values well.

No - the case of zelda is fairly unique as it is coming out of two platforms and will need to be seen as more expensive on the newer platform.

Exactly this! Most new release PS4 games have the RRP of 50 odd quid - F1 2016's RRP was £59.99! It will all normalise out when companies figure out their strategies, orders etc.
