I never owned the original but I really like these controllers, very easy to get used to coming from a Playstation background. And I can plug my PS4 headset in without a special cable.

SO you don't need special adapter for PC? connect with Bluetooth and it work? I thought you need special adapter

You need a PC with Bluetooth and windows 10. Also don't expect audio to work.

As long as your PC supports Bluetooth 4.0 (I think). Worked a treat on a Surface but main PC with a cheap Bluetooth adapter failed to pair

To confirm, these work with both the special Adaptor for PC and Bluetooth, when using Windows 10.
The only difference I noticed was that the Xbox Assessories app on Windows 10 which you can update the firmware on the controller with doesn't work via Bluetooth.
You can of course just plug in a micro USB cable which works too.
