I have the original rocksmith for the xbox 360, if I purchase this one, can I transfer the music from the original rocksmith to this too?

i'd heard there was a slight lag compeared to the 360 version, could anyone correct me if this was the case and or if its been fixed with an update ?

The lag issue was solved for me by using an optical cable for the audio instead of having it go through the HDMI.
You can import the original Rocksmith songs for a fee. Can't remember exactly how much it was, I don't think it was any more than £10.
Yes you can transfer all dlc purchased on 360 to the one I did that myself. need import pack installed then go to the game in the game and apps section, manage the game and all dlc should be waiting to be downloaded.

So just to get this right, I can import all the songs from the Xbox 360 disc version of the first rocksmith to the new Xbox one version? Sorry to sound a bit dim... just want to make sure, I am pretty happy with the XB360 version, but might mean I can pack it away and make space for something else

I had this for the xbox one and the lag was unfixable through my tv speakers. As the other chap mentioned, you need to do the audio via an optical audio to get it working which isnt ideal.

This is what has put me off, was getting pretty good at it when I had it on 360, got a xbone and bought this for£55, struggling with lag. Cba with optical audio etc

I had this on 360 and you could eliminate any input lag by using the av cable for the audio however the Xbox one version for me is unplayable even with an analogue adapter for the optical. I think it depends on your setup, I have a sound bar and have tried everything. If it works with your setup, though with zero input lag it's great

£14 on the Russian store for those that use it - not a massive saving, but every little helps...

Might stick to my 360 version if issues with lag.

Will my XO guitar hero supreme guitars work with this?

100% no. it's designed for you to learn to play real guitars.
