If staff notice it scans at 1p they are supposed to remove it from sale - or so I've been told in the store in Seaham, Co Durham. Any Wilko staff out there please correct me if I'm wrong. I've had things taken off me at the till and they wouldn't sell them to me under any circumstances. However the odd thing might slip through if you were buying other items that weren't 1p.
