I find these cut me - the gillette ones dont... so no not imo.
Can get gilette a lot cheaper if you look for vouchers (amazon) and wait for deals (amazon)... got 4 blades for less than a fiver black friday when they applied my voucher on top of their deal .

As an alternative, search for Dorco razors, who have a 2 for 1 offer finishing today (also high TCB/Quidco). There's another thread if you search. Highly rated on Amazon.
I have a Gillette fusion and a razorpit sharpener for the blades last months sharpen 3 times a week use Palmolive shave cream £1.79 Tesco last ages just use a small bit lather on wet face and shave

About those who say shaves are rougher, about 15 years ago I was advised to use cold cream when shaving instead of soap... I have used it without a problem and now I shave my entire head using offers on cream like Nivea light or Dove Silky and it works out fairly cheap but I have completely eliminated skin rashes or upsets. As far as the blades go I find them all similar but I have a son in the USA so I use a USA blade (made in Germany) from a company called Harry's and I find them superior to any Gillette ones & as good as any Wilkinson one or similar & of course they work out about 33% overall cheaper than UK blades
