Can't think of anything I need this for + it's not "completely waterproof" so a bit misleading really.

Good price, although don't be fooled by the "waterproof" will keep out rain and splashes, but that's it. Falls in water it will leak inside within seconds.

do you have experience with this brand? use similar bags for caving and totally waterproof but can't vouch for this one

Usually used for boating, we have on win the speedboat for just keeping things dry in general like phones and cameras, towels etc! Money too although not so much now with majority of notes becoming plastic..

I have a few of these. When you roll down the top and clip together you cannot expel the air. If you cannot force out air water certainly won't get in. I'd say they might leak if you go scuba diving otherwise they're very good for all water sports.

If you want to put this in a bag, there is no need to go for the rugged material, you can get lighter weight dry bags.

Looks a good deal and everything about these suggests they are totally waterproof. Not sure how the posts above have arrived at another conclusion?
