I'd have said get a tape measure and measure the inside collar of one in the wardrobe making sure the buttons done up, but my first idea is easier.

Picked one of these up last week based on a previous post, I they are only 35% cotton, I picked up some in last years sale from the same range "Limited Edition" which were 55%. don't know if they have reduced the cotton percentage throughout the range but thought it was worth a mention

Cold, M&S shirts are oddly sized. 14.5inch collar has a 34.5inch sleeve

How do I check my husband's collar size? He normally buys shirts that are XS or S but I've never seen collar sizes...

agree I go for 100% cotton; costs more but worth it.

Oh, so it doesn't work like children sizes then, where you choose according to age? (What could go wrong?)
