Measure his left ankle and multiply it by the square root of pi. Make sure it's in inches though.
I'd have said get a tape measure and measure the inside collar of one in the wardrobe making sure the buttons done up, but my first idea is easier.

It works as any slim fit XXL shirt would, if you take XXL then you are likely a 48-50 inch chest and would do better wearing something looser fitting unless you like the moob look.

Not sure how white is the white one - looks dull grey. But excellent price and worth a try. Thanks OP!

It's £5.49, were you expecting 100% cotton for this price? :smirk:

Picked one of these up last week based on a previous post, I they are only 35% cotton, I picked up some in last years sale from the same range "Limited Edition" which were 55%. don't know if they have reduced the cotton percentage throughout the range but thought it was worth a mention

Cold, M&S shirts are oddly sized. 14.5inch collar has a 34.5inch sleeve

How do I check my husband's collar size? He normally buys shirts that are XS or S but I've never seen collar sizes...
afroylnt to Asya86

I would guess 14.5 - 15; but that's a guess. Work / formal shirts tend to be by collar size.

Oh, so it doesn't work like children sizes then, where you choose according to age? (What could go wrong?)
Why oh why don't they just put 'suitable for ages x to y' for everyone? Much simpler.
I bet it's all that interfering Europe's fault.

Tried a couple of M&S slim T shirts last summer - they were veritable tents.....I can only guess M&S are trying to win sales with their chubster punters....." Look Honey, I've bought an M&S slim fit T-shirt & it fits me"
