After 1 year I realized my netgear ones were also causing me network issues. I was on the phone to virgin every other day. Since removing them my network is good

Just bought one at Hedge End which was still going through at 1/3rd of ie £29.99 not £22.50 so beware it's not every branch, still pretty good value at £29.99 one left on shelf maybe it will go down to £22.50 tommorrow.

I've got this and never had any issues - also, firmware update changes 300Mbps to 500 (or 600? - can't remember)

I've had passthrough homeplugs for years without issues. However i did buy a TP-Link wi-fi extender that killed my Virgin connection.
I tend to use a switch on each of my homeplugs to split and feed several networked items.

good deal, but I'd recommend buying the "passthrough" ones with a power socket on the front if you can afford a little bit more.
I've just replaced some cheaper ones with passthrough after running out of sockets. could've saved myself a few quid if I just bought the passthrough ones to start with.
Amazon often have good TP Link ones in their warehouse / customer returned / used section for £32 ish
