They've been around the 50 mark at Amazon for ages.. Should be a good product though and is cheaper. I went for the av2000s in a moment of impulse

Try checking out the warehouse as well, these are normally available.
Not sure if they still have the extra 20% off anymore though!

Anyone know if these would play nicely with my solwise ones. I could do with replacing my 200av ones.

Yes I believe they will. Homeplug AV2 supports backward compatibility with Homeplug AV1, which the 200av's appear to be.
But as with anything I haven't tried it so no guarantees.

Expired for new item sold by Amazon. Worth looking at used warehouse price.

Not very good they keep freezing, had a few different model tap link ones and they all did it, seems I'm not the only one according to reviews

Same here, I put up with it for a while and then sold them on. Thankfully their routers perform a lot better! Hear's looking at you VR900 ;-)

I've got the av1200 versions 1port, 3 ports and the 3port wifi and all run ok.

Got these in Currys, two days ago for £50, they are very good! definitely worth it. Nice find.
little tip - If you're plugging one directly into a router, try to use the GigE port as it will be the fastest. the standard ethernet ports may be limited to 100mbps,
I've a bt home hub 3 and it has 3 ethernet and 1 GigE port. noticed big difference when connecting into the GigE.
Opening post
The AV500 and AV600 use AV1 which just use SISO.
