Homebase Faux suede Touch lamp on half price. Not sure if nation wide or not. But seems good based on the price, reviews and style.

Been this price for a while. Not bad we use LED BULBS in them not supplied.

I did not think you could use LED bulbs in touch lamps. I put one in a similar lamp a few years ago and the lamp did not work properly afterwards.
Which LED bulbs work with these lamps?

LED BULBS from B+M. This home base touch lamp is basic on/off so no need for dimmable LEDs

Heat added, I grabbed six of these a couple of months ago, for a shelf in my office. Spray painted them black, and to my surprise they still work with the Touch feature - which is good considering it's the only way to turn them on!

This will make a difference from touching the wife, every time I touch her she switches off. This will be a novel experience. Taking back control people, taking back control.

This thing gets turned on and off with a touch. Unlike women though, you can predict whether touching will turn it on or off

Reserved one at a local Homebase, 5 minutes later a call saying they don't have any even though shows stock. So i reserve at another store, 5 minutes later another call, no stock!

Just a word of caution on these lamps. We bought some, primarily for the colour of the shades, and, after returning the third set, gave up. They all worked fine for a few months. Each time they failed we obviously checked the plugs, fuses and bulbs but couldn't identify the problem. Maybe the Homebase stocking them (Mallard Rd, Bournemouth) had a dodgy batch but I certainly wouldn't buy again, at any price.
