The Buyagift booking line is not always accurate, done through 'bookatable'. You can phone them and explain the situation - done this before, and just hand them the voucher.

The whole point of taking bookings is that they can plan ahead so, most likely they close bookings for the session once it starts because they won't be able to constantly look at it and won't be expecting someone that just booked minutes before they arrive.
Even if you were refused in the past, still try coming inside and ask politely if you can still use the voucher without booking. If it was as empty as you said, they normally won't have a problem with it. Make sure you leave a nice tip, so you don't discourage them to say yes to the next person that asks.

Good price but with all the vouchers floating around this is fairly normal tbh. If you go regularly, sign up to their newletter for frequent 2-for-1 or free-starters etc.
My only issue with this place is a bunch of their set-menu starters are more like sides (like a tiny piece of bread...)

The pizzas are around £11. 2 Pizzas @ £5.50 each plus glass of wine at £4.50 means you are effectively getting free starters and dessert which is better (if you would drink wine anyway). If my maths is correct.

Yes totally agreed, plus extend your comment to their expensive a la carte menu prices

Yeah This is a far better deal than the offers i usually get sent from Zizzi newsletter. £20 for 3 courses and a glass of wine for 2 people is far better than 2 for 1 on mains etc. I've used one of these at Zizzi and one at Prezzo - Prezzo set menu was far better than Zizzi but unfortunately Zizzi is all we have locally.
P.S. Wine can be substituted for alternative drink and with the price of their soft drinks this is still great value.

quidco is offering 15% cashback but says it's not valid with other offers, worth a try though
