its a good one, but it's a fairly "fast" slow cooker. my old one didn't cook as quick as this one.

People buy slow cookers all the time and never use them.
So you can often pick one up locally (ebay or gumtree) cheap as chips.
I wouldn't be too fussed about brand name, they are all much of a muchness. I've got an Argos value one and it cooks as good as any other.
Having said that, £18 with free C&C is a decent price for a branded 3.5L slow cooker.

Usually over £25, can find on Amazon for £20 with prime.
also, different prices for different colours, not easy to find the 3.5L black one

I have had this one for a year now and I love it. Having never had one before I did wonder if I would bother using it once the novelty wore off but I still use it at least twice a week

Bought the 5.7 litre version from Sainsburys before Xmas. Reduced from £50 to £28...used double up Nectar points so £14.
Quality bit of kit. Really well made.

Not true, a lot of the cheap ones cook too quickly, even on the low setting
