This is the cheapest ive seen this game drops to. It is probably worth it despite the 3DS versions lack of online modes compared to the wii u version.

Remember you do have access to online levels, just the choice is limited and is rotated (not sure how frequently rotated).

Can't wait for these sort of games to appear on the Switch. The extra resolution should make all the difference.

I imagine it'd look very much like the Wii u version

If you don't have much creativity or interest in creating levels (which is me!), is this game still worth looking at? Is there much replay value?

Theres a hundred courses built by Nintendo themselves, each one with its own challenges to try and beat, so even if you never download a course there more here than on most Mario games. (The courses are usually quite short though)

That you can play on the go!...
There's been a bit of moaning about the WiiU ports - Zelda BotW, MK8, etc, but I can think of loads more I'd like to see portable.
Games like this (Super Mario Maker) and Fire Emblem, etc. are much better played on the go. IMO.

I'm still hoping this game comes to the switch (remake or version 2) without the limitations of the 3ds. The 3ds version kind of defeats the purpose of it imo. Though I am on the fence on the switch.

I can see a steady flow of Wii U ports on 3DS now. Someone said they wanted to see Splatoon, that could work well with local multiplayer fun galore available. The Wolly Yoshi 3DS demo is absolutely brilliant. I am preferring that to Wii U Wooly Yoshi, it plays so good on the 3DS and looks great.

Maybe, but I caught up with some 3DS games I'd never played lasy year, and was struck by how primitive the 3DS screen now looks. Great games on the system for sure, but the tech is old hat. Get them all ported to the Switch!

This is a more reasonable price

Nintendo did bring out some splatoon 3ds cover plates I assumed the game was headed to the 3ds at some point. I suspect the sell by date has passed on that happening but still a few ports would be good. (as long as there not hobbled like mario maker on the 3ds.
