midwife just told us that this shouldn't be used on children that wear disposable diapers, as doing so will cause nappy rash contrary to popular belief. anyone on here in the know on such things? as i already purchased a tonne of this stuff in preparation for a newborn and now am in two minds about using it :neutral_face:

sounds like rubbish to me. we use it when they had nappy rash with teathing, worked really well. we use pampers. good on exema as well.

I remember the health visitor saw the large sized tub of sudocrem I had bought and said that'll last you years. She then explained to only use a teeny amount when red/nappy rash appears and spread very thinly otherwise it's use defeats the point (skin breathable). She was right I still have the same 400g tub still going since June 2013 for my 2 kids! :smiley:
