I orders the Mario Break Bricks to shirt from them last week, was in stock when dispatched, then received an email 2 days later with a refund and a parcel arrived with just an invoice that had written on it "sorry out of stock, refunded".

GAME didn't care after chatting with them and said tough as it's OOS even though I got a dispatch email. Just fair warning as they seem to be able to cancel these sale items even when they say they have stock (copying GameSeek perhaps claiming stock when they dont?!)

For info, a few of my local GAME stores have the Ken t-shirt (various sizes - not just large) for £4.99.

starting to wonder if game is actually a game shop or if its gonna go full on game merchandise instead. local close to me has more gaming hoodies and tshirts / figures etc than anything else. not to mention an absolute toxic preowned 3ds section. Saw a game in there the other day that was 39.99 preowned and a brand new copy from anywhere else would set you back 14.99. Wont suprise me at all if game shut down altogether by 2020.

A great SF2 scarf on there somewhere if I remember rightly.

Yes indeed, I expressed my disappointment as a completely negligible attempt at customer service. Asked for a copy of the live chat and requested it at the end of the chat to forward to a consumer watchdog....of course I never received that from them. Shall not be using them again unless it's a price glitch like the Mafia 3 deal last year!

Those mafia shirts are disappointing.

Mwah. They can't sell what they don't have. You save your own chat log in live chat. Their website isn't the best but you have had one bad experience but still got your money back, you got a nice note too.

Yeah, I didn't want to be the first to say it, but it doesn't sound like the worst customer experience I've ever heard; certainly nothing worthy of Watchdog's ire. I'd file under 'Vague Disappointment'.
