Boots currently have their 500ml shampoo and conditioner range on a very good offer of 75p per bottle. In the current in-store magazine, dated Jan-Feb, there is a coupon for 200 points when you buy ANY 2 shampoos or conditioners (excluding miniatures and premium brands). The magazine is free if you're an Advantage card holder. You can get as many as you like. As such it's 50p profit in points terms (£2 back in points) for each 2 bottles you buy.
On top of this, if you look at your Boots app, you can get 100 points for buying anything. This works in conjunction so 300 points (£3) for spending £1.50 on shampoo/conditioner.

I know - first time I used it she was saying it has to be John Frieda. Durrrrr - read the small print. Then she said I don't think this will work - well can you try it please!!!! It worked, which wiped the smile off her face. I think a sales assistant somewhere will be reporting this soon so we'd best get our hands on as many as we can. There is nothing wrong with what we are doing - you cannot tell me that Boots don't have a system whereby they check their coupons with what is available in store and what at price etc before they print magazines? A multi million pound company that doesn't pay appropriate rates of tax in this country (allegedly)?? Bless them....

I don't think they take the points away as I've been saving points for over 5 years. I read the T&Cs as if you haven't used your Advantage Card for 2 years they will then cancel the card/remove points. If you are still using it to save points there is no time limit in which they need spent.

Ask someone on a till. Yesterday they were on the counter at the till and could be seen from a distance. Today they weren't. They had been moved to a "specially made slot" at the back of the counter bit so I couldn't see them until I got right up to the till.

You have to buy any 2 bottles shampoo/conditioner. Not premium brands. The cheapest available are Boots' own make at 75p per bottle. Take them to the till with the coupon from the magazine and your Advantage Card - you will have to pay £1.50 but your Ad Card will be credited with 200 points. So in effect you get the shampoo/conditioner free and get an extra 50 points. Make sure you get another magazine when you pay for your stuff so you can do it again if you want to. I've done it 3 times I think so far.

I got mine earlier, was going to get another magazine , but the s/a had questioned the coupon, as it showed John Frieda product in the picture. I pointed out that the actual wording is EXCEPT premium products, so my coupon was taken, um, a bit grudgingly, so I didn't wanna ask for another mag, in case I got ' you're only allowed one' grrr. Will try at another branch.
And thank you, op, this is totally brilliant! I got shampoo, conditioner, and gained 50p worth of points!! Free shampoo + free money!! Amazing deal!
