thanks op! i bought the 75p own range shampoo and used it for 1st time today and my hair felt lovely :smiley: ! also there was herbal essences guava have it shampoo/ conditioner on clearance for 75p which i also bought.

yes i know the 200pts is in the mag but u mentioned 'on top of this, if you look at your Boots app, you can get 100 points for buying anything. This works in conjunction so 300 points (£3) for spending £1.50 on shampoo/conditioner'. on my boots app i havent got the further 100pts x

You can only use ONE of these haircare vouchers per transaction. The voucher from the magazine.

It depends on which vouchers you are using...I have used more than one in a single transaction but it depends on the terms of each individual voucher

I take premium to mean the likes of John Frieda, Charles Worthington etc. So Pantene, Herbal Essences, L'Oréal, Aussie, Tresemme etc will all be included in the deal.

Yeah, every week for 3 weeks they have given 100 points when you made a purchase. I remembered to activate the app twice out of the three weeks.

I don't think they take the points away as I've been saving points for over 5 years. I read the T&Cs as if you haven't used your Advantage Card for 2 years they will then cancel the card/remove points. If you are still using it to save points there is no time limit in which they need spent.

am really glad I looked at this thread (even though I won't be getting the shampoo) as I had no idea I have to use up my points - and I have lots! Will be getting some perfume tomorrow I think :smiley:

went in store today and assistant told me there is no deadline for using points. I live to shop another day!

You cannot collect points when you pay with points, you need to pay for them with cash/card.

Yeah - voucher just says haircare so in theory hairspray, mousse etc would work.

You can't get extra points awarded when you pay with points. That's always been the rule, I'm afraid :disappointed:

I think there is something about points collected have to be spent within a certain period otherwise you lose them. Just another way Boots try and rip you off, with their overpriced items etc etc. That's why I love a deal like this one where we are getting paid 50p to take 2 bottles of shampoo/conditioner away!!!!

It's all good until they steal your points. I've had a substantial amount of points, all collected from standard shopping voided / stolen by Boots. I don't trust them one bit

Good luck finding the Dec/Jan magazine ... my Boots has JAN/FEB issue and say they always throw out the old ones when the new ones come in ..

You have to buy any 2 bottles shampoo/conditioner. Not premium brands. The cheapest available are Boots' own make at 75p per bottle. Take them to the till with the coupon from the magazine and your Advantage Card - you will have to pay £1.50 but your Ad Card will be credited with 200 points. So in effect you get the shampoo/conditioner free and get an extra 50 points. Make sure you get another magazine when you pay for your stuff so you can do it again if you want to. I've done it 3 times I think so far.

For every pound spent the cardholder receives four points. Each point is worth 1p. It's not 1p for every penny spent so you will get 8 points not 200

Yeah, the 100 points for buying anything isn't on my app either.
