exactly why not the have the same deal for online even if they charge delivery. if people really want the 6 yr guarantee then they'll pay £20-30 to have it delivered. they must lose out on so many sale opportunities limiting to in store only.

They also say they wont be beaten on price, but then use the 6 year warranty as a get out if they dont want to match..

A bit unfair as its not like for like is it when they have the longest warranty out there.If your TV packs in after 5 years 6 months you get a refund unlike JL where you get nothing.They don't have large distribution sites to enable full online deliveries, insteed they get a handful in each shop .You need to be quick off the mark for in store only deals .

It's not really unfair - they have these bricks and mortar stores that they obviously want to drive traffic to, they know full well that it will upset some people who buy online (and yes, I'm one of them) but I may go into the store on a whim and if the deal wasn't there I might just come out with something else. I'm sure it's a calculated risk on their part rather than an oversight or deliberate nuisance.

Do not forget that Sony let lots of its customers down after YouTube and similar apps stop working forever! We ended up with a giant dumb monitor...

Just went to buy the tv I decided on: LG49UH770V from richer sounds and since yesterday it's gone up another £50. Never mind :/ I was a day late .
