I don't think it's solid wood... It's hardwearing wood as stated on the description "The Tiverton dining set has a country style 2 tone finish, with a blend of natural and white woods. It's made of hardwearing wood so it can easily withstand everyday family use."... Unless it has the same meaning??

I know what you mean. I think I've assumed it's solid wood. It says made of rubberwood but doesn't say veneer anywhere so I'm guessing there's no chipboard centre to it therefore solid wood. It ain't no oak that's for sure

If it helps, the Q&As on the sideboard seem to say it is solid wood...

I got the dining chairs from Homebase for £10 a pair, they are really nice and solid. Tempted to get the table!

I was tempted but wanted to check if it was solid wood. It says the table is made from 'Rubberwood', which is technically a solid wood but no way as hard as maple. The only problem with rubberwood is it doesn't look like real wood.
Good price so have some heat

Shame there are no reviews. I've had a poor history with ordering tables from Argos - got 3 last year and all were badly damaged. It puts me off thinking about the haste to return.
