The pdf on the Argos site suggests the battery pack is built in. Just a duff description then.

I always try to avoid making any negative comments but in the interests of helpfulness my opinion is that this is a waste of money even at this very low price. Underpowered with an old fashioned battery it wouldn't even put an Ikea job together.
I threw mine away and got a Bosch IXO for under thirty pounds and as an amateur DIY-er it does all I need. Its performance is improved with the optional torque setting adapter which currently goes for around fifteen quid.
Not for the professionals though, obviously.
