Each pan has a copper bottom, which conducts and distributes heat evenly throughout the whole pan so there won’t be any hot or cold spots. This lets you cook food evenly and a high standard. A long and ergonomically shaped handle makes it easy to hold, while the lips on either side of the saucepan makes pouring cooking juices, sauces and any other liquid mess free.

This was also available in store for half price. Could not justify the price difference.
I was looking at these but know nothing about pans so just left them. Desperately need some new ones though

They look good for me. They are on the heavy side as the bottom part is copper. They look as quality pans and as far as I know the idea is to have a fairly tick bottom part so the food will not burn.

I do prefer the ones with the plastic handles, much easier to pick up, probably much lower quality though

I have had these pans for about 8 years now, they have been OK, not sure I'd buy again though as one of the copper bottoms has come off one of the pans. I would go for a tri-ply pan which is solid and does not have the copper bottom just stuck to the bottom, spend a bit more money and pans SHOULD last a lifetime really.

They come with 10 yrs warranty. If you still have the receipt it might worth contacting Sainsbury's.
