Why do they want us to fly to the USA for less and less?

Gonna take a wild guess here: to create demand for flights so they can make money?

It's cheap but they need to keep the route open and I would imagine at this time of the year the Boston route will be empty unless you like snow. They are doing some really cheap flights in the summer from Scotland on new routes though and as someone who remembers the pre 911 days when you could find last minute flights for £49 to the US it's cheap but most of the costs are actually taxes.

I'm going in April with Norwegian, just be aware it can be pretty extreme weather at this time of year - wrap up warm!

LOL my connection is :man: £234 Scotland to London Gatwick Virgin East Coast
Opening post
The pick of the bunch to me seem to be the flights to Boston (from Gatwick) which are available for less than £200 return.
For example:
05/02/17 - 13/02/17
Outwards £134
Return £65.30
