More of a reminder than anything new. The permanent price drop on the digital versions of these three games was 7 months ago. All are £8.99 on the 3ds and all are worth it.
What prompted this was whilst having a clearout or at least thinking about it i checked on the going rate for a new physical copy of Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl and was shocked at how much a copy was going for.
I realised that when Atlus and Nis America split not only did they drop the digital price of these games but NisA also stopped producing the physical version as well of course and so stock has disappeared and prices have crept up.
So really just a nod to any newer 3ds owners who might not be aware that digital versions of these 3 particular games are a lot cheaper than there physical counterparts! Not many new hukd members are going to scroll back 7 months to phillips4551 original post. Also an honourable mention to him.
I didn't include the price drop on Persona q because i've posted it a few times in the recent past already.
Never played either of them... And to be honest, a cursory glance to some of the series previous games made me lose interest as they seemed like dungeon crawlers.

All three are genuinely worth a play, but if cartography isn't your thing (etrian games) i'd stay clear. Fwiw i preferred Untold over 4 which was a little old school. I didn't mind the new story mode in untold at all and thought it added a good bit of replay value to the game. Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner Soul hackers (Jesus Atlus!) is an update of the dreamcast version and is almost worth it for the game icon alone. Spookies!

Heat looks quite interesting and enticing at this price. I think Spasho might have liked this deal. Spasho if your watching, hope you get back on here soon, we miss you.

i think he normally prefers physical copies (how sad that i know other hukd members gaming preferences) but you never know. Why the ban? do you know ND?

As someone who has never played an Etrian Game, which one would you guys recommend to start with?

I'd go for Etrian Odyssey 4. It's one of the most addictive RPGs i've played. But yeah try the demo out.

You can download free demo Millennium Girl. I did not like this game and sold it.

Yeah sorry should have mentioned demos are available on the eshop and that's the easiest way of trying out quite a lot of games.

I prefer digital copies too, I usually just go for physical because that is where the deals are, and for resale value, not to mention we have multiple 3DS XLs so, having a game tied to 1 console is not always ideal.
No idea why Spasho banned to be honest, but have a hunch he may have got into a spat with a XB/PS fanboy on a Switch deal thread. Maybe a nice friendly mod will confirm? Hope to see him back anyway, he does offer a lot to the HUKD Nintendo community.

ah, ok. I've been banned twice myself, both times for awesomeness.
Yes, like others (cough) he does bring some good deals to the hukd table (cough).

I still haven't got my banned badge (yet), probably came close once or twice though. The nonsense in the Switch deal threads might bring me a bit of bother yet! Spasho has posted one or two really good deals in his time. Is not just deals, I think thread/information contribution is sometimes underrated on here. Even just tidying up or querying the inaccurate information is helpful.

nice! I would have missed this. I'm new to 3ds and shin megami. I just bought soul hackers, I hope that it will set me up well for the series. I know it is technically a spin-off set in the future but it could start me off on a prospective viewpoint.
