Various sizes/colours available - reduced from £27.99. This is for the X-Light 2, not the X-Light 1 which is still £27.99 and was posted a couple of weeks ago. Essentially, they are the same jacket, just different styling.

How is it animal cruelty to use feathers? The animals will be reared for their meat and the feathers sold off as a byproduct. Personally, I think duck tastes great!

"The body is covered with feathers for greater comfort."
Presumably there is a layer of tar involved, and the bird's comfort is noticeably reduced.

why do people insist on slating something without doing the research.
decathlon statement......
Our feathers come from Chinese ducks reared for their meat; we remove their feathers after slaughter. We hold the death certificates for these

Everything comes out of China these days, even duck feathers.

Ah that's good then, we all know how ethical China is towards animals and how they never lie.

They seem confused about their own washing instructions:
They clearly state don't dry clean, ...then suggest you take it to a dry cleaners!
They also state that you should zip the garment before washing/drying, ...then show a video which totally disregards this advice!!
I'd like to see the death certificates for all the ducks that donated to the filling of my jacket! :stuck_out_tongue:

Who cares where the feathers are from and what the washing instructions are it's £ 19.99p.
Wear it for the rest of the winter then throw it away - job done and value for money had !

Agreed. A bargain shouldn't come at this expense. Pertex is man made equivalent - it's almost as warm and far warmer when wet
