Went to John Lewis today to buy my first Hue colour bulb to go with my white ones I already have. Price scanned at £24.98 instead of £49.95 which the shelf edge label shows. Checked both screw and bayonet fittings and they are both scanning at £24.98. This was at the Bristol Cribbs Causeway store. Maybe just this store or could be a national thing. There were 5 bayonet bulbs left there this evening.

Don't think so, it doesn't say it's the 'richer colour' ones.

No "Richer Colours" logo in the top right so they're the older ones

No they are not. There would be a logo in the front that's says richer colours if they were

Also the bulb is silver not white. Personally I wouldn’t bother with these now that gen3 are here but if you don’t really care for the colours it’s a good deal.
