Phillips build quality, panel failure rate and CS on their premium monitors leaves a lot to be desired

For hardcore gamers a 144mhz monitor may be preferable but there are none of this size remotely near this price.

They say you can't really tell the difference after 1khz refresh rate, but I bet at 100mhz must run really smooth...
Is that factory setting or do you need to overclock, not sure I want to void a warranty? :smiley:

Just to check before I buy is this the best deal for the price for a 1440p UltraWide, and is it really worth the £200 premium over 29" 1080p UltraWides? I'm not a gamer so lack of FreeSync is fine, just desktop use. Replacing a 4k.

The AOC 34' ultrawide gets rave reviews and is a similar price. Only 34' ultrawides are worthwhile if you are buying for non-gaming use. It is worth the premium, no doubt.
